IMRU COMMUNITY COLLECTIVE
Everyone is welcome to contribute to the production of IMRU. There are no requirements regarding the sexual orientation of a contributor. Discrimination will not be tolerated. But our “beat” is the LGBT Community and an interest in LGBT issues is expected. The IMRU Collective will provide the training to assist in your transition from radio listener to radio contributor.
STEVE PRIDE holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism [Radio Track] from the University of Central Florida, is a FIVE-TIME winner of the GOLDEN MIKE Award presented by The RADIO & TELEVISION NEWS ASSOCIATION OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA and a veteran of Sirius Satellite Radio, WUCF 89.9 FM Orlando, WDBO 96.5 FM Winter Park, and WMFE 90.7 FM Orlando. He is a regular feature contributor to the internationally syndicated "This Way Out" Radio program, produces their weekly news report and sits on their Board of Directors. He is a member of the Los Angeles Press Club, the Association of Independents in Radio and for the last four years has served on the Board of Directors of the Washington D.C. based NATIONAL LESBIAN AND GAY JOURNALISTS ASSOCIATION as well as serving as the organization’s Membership & Diversity Chair. Before taking a national role, he was President of the NLGJA Los Angeles chapter for six years. He has been with IMRU since 1995 and has produced over 500 features for the show. A former Walt Disney World character, singer/dancer, improv coach, tap teacher, equity actor, and professional stand-up comedian; he is currently working to finish his first novel "Chasing Peter".

Vash Boddie was born in Philadelphia, grew up in the Philippines where he got his start in radio on FEN (Far East Network). He received his B.S. from the Haas Business School at U.C. Berkeley where his focus was Finance and Marketing. While at UCB, he also founded an environmental, student run troupe, Dansworx and served as its Artistic Director for two years. Vash was a Senior Consultant with Andersen Consulting; Pre-Sales Rep, Pre/Post Sales Manager with IRI, Pre-Sales and Sales Rep with Oracle.
